Where are they?

Do you understand
why you're
being an arse?

ASSIGNMENT: Having a lot of free time on my hads can take its toll on me, but lately i've used the time to observe and think. I would liketo ask you, the blogosphere, what happened to all men??

Various social factors have transformed - i found - boy and girl relationships to something else. In fact, they have degenerated the relationship to nothing. I'm not gonna write about how there is no romance anymore and the such- it's boring and i'm planning to write about it later on. My question is the following: where are the men?
This has also nothing to do with homosexuality.

My question is more concrete than that. When did having a girlfriend become less cool and all boys prefer to play video games, buy tees with obscure prints on them, or surf the internet for even more obscure phrases to print on their t-shirts. Also, real communication was substituted by er...facebook?twitter? Also, when didit become ok to treat girls like s**t? I will say it comes from their cocky attitude towards life : boys, a girl will break your heart eventually, and then we'll talk. On the other hand, there are girls who actually accept this kind of behaviour: girls, you ruined it for us all.

Personally, i always loved the kind of geeky boy, who by the way have achieved equlibirium between the virtual and the real world. The geeky kind is always a charmer, and i hope real to his own feelings. But what really worries me is : if the right guy comes along, us girls who've had our heart broken over and over again, will we be able to notice???

Having the above random statements in mind, DISCUSS your experience of the modern dating scene. (approx. 200 words or more)

Sometimes i miss the romanticism and "portrayed" innocence of the 1950s girl-boy relations due to sexual and sexist secularism of the era. I think we should make a habit out of sharing milkshakes and looking into each others eyes. Then we can go shag like there's no tomorrow.
